The ASLA bestowed Fellowship on 32 outstanding members in 2014. The Potomac ASLA Chapter had only one member in the Class of 2014. Congratulations to Elizabeth Miller, FASLA.

Elizabeth Miller is a longtime advocate of innovative public policy, planning, and urban design initiatives. She works on the front line of emerging urbanism, smart growth, security design and sustainability. Her collaboration and consensus building skills provide a platform to educate allied professionals, elected officials, the media and the public about good development practices and how landscape architects improve holistic land use, public space, transportation and appropriate infrastructure solutions. She continues to help shape the public environment in D.C., which includes stewardship of the L'Enfant and McMillan plans.
