Course Description An overview of the various Beneficial Insects available for commercial use and how they can be incorporated into any landscape maintenance program. Go beyond Ladybugs and learn about a dozen different beneficial insects, the pests they control and how to use them--including Cryptolaemus for Mealybug and Delphastus for whitefly control. With the knowledge of Beneficial Insects you will be able to appeal to your green thinking and organic clients, reduce chemical use and their associated costs and introduce a new program to your clients. Go greener with Beneficial Insects. Biography Lorelei Hill has worked in the nursery and garden industry for over 35 years. After attending UC Davis she joined the management program at Nurseryland Garden Center and became a California Certified Nurseryperson. After managing Nurseryland and Armstrong Garden Centers retail locations she moved to Kellogg Garden Products to continue her career in Sales and Marketing. For the past 7 years she has been the product specialist with Organic Control Inc/ORCON a company offering a large assortment of organic products and beneficial insects.
