Biography:

Karen Compton is Principal of A3K Consulting, a business development and strategic planning firm that specializes in the AEC industry. She has more than 15 years experience in business development and strategic planning, and procurement. Karen has been a featured speaker for several national organizations including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Society of Design Administration, the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) and PSMJ Resources on the subjects of business development and business planning. Her articles have been featured in such publications as the Journal of Public Policy, the SMPS Marketer, RainToday.com and the Rainmaker. In 2011, she launched Industry Speaks?EUR??,,????'??????????????--web-based business-to-business application that allows AEC professionals to search for business management consultants that specialize in the built environment.
