Course Description:
In this course attendees will learn the major concepts and requirements needed to create a quality low voltage lighting setting and how to tackle the new and improved LED lighting options. Topics covered will include basic transformer training and information; the numerous options for transformers; voltage drop; various options available in LED's and their compatibility with current systems and the power supplies needed to make them work. The design issues when manufacturing a landscape fixture, understanding the proper fixture choice for the job and being able to choose quality fixtures will be touched upon.
Biography:
Sam Barker Sr. has more than 30 years of experience in the low-voltage lighting industry. He is an active member of the Illuminating Engineering Society, the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, as well as a member of the National Fire Protection Association. Starting in the late 70?EUR??,,????'???s, Sam Sr. has done everything from supplying numerous lighting products, to building his own tube lighting, to finally supplying his own low-voltage lighting transformers. In 2010, SEBCO Industries, Inc. celebrated 30 years of lighting success.

Biography:
John Baldasti is the current owner of Hevi Lite, Inc. With more than 20 years of landscape lighting experience, John manufacturers specialty and custom lighting fixtures for the most challenging lighting requirements. Not all standard products available completely solve today's difficult lighting needs, so Hive Lite has dedicated its resources to providing the right product for the right job to each of its customers.
