Course Description:
California is home to over 300 endangered species, including birds, fish, and mammals many of which are at risk due to the exposure of pesticides. This course will evaluate pesticide limitations in correlation with endangered species as well as how the DPR database PRESCRIBE works to deliver customized protection measures for user-selected pesticides and locations.

Biography:
Polo Moreno is an Environmental Scientist who has been working for the California Department of Pesticide Regulation?EUR??,,????'???s Endangered Species Program since 1989. Mr. Moreno has a B.S. in Marine Biology from UABCS M????(C)xico and an M.S. in Conservation Biology from University of California Davis. His areas of expertise include Avian Biology, Endangered Species, Conservation Biology and Geographic Information Systems and he is a member of the Wildlife Society, Cooper Ornithological Society and Pacific Seabird Group.
