Course Description:
Business service expansion is a great way to increase your clientele, thus increasing your revenue. This course will teach attendees how to add tree health care services to their landscape businesses. Attendees will learn how to get started, including what knowledge business owners need to gain with regard to trees and tree health, tools that are available, training staff to identify issues and treat them, as well as which treatments make sense for the situation- spray applications, soil applications (drench versus injection) and tree injection (macro versus micro). Real world revenue examples will be given and marketing techniques that will keep clients coming back.

Biography:
With an Art and Design background, Brandon?EUR??,,????'???s arboriculture career was sparked by a love of trees and an interest in ecology. He obtained his education from the University of Minnesota ?EUR??,,????'??? College of Natural Resources for Urban and Community Forestry and began in the Research Department of Rainbow Treecare Scientific Advancements (RTSA). Prior to his current role with RTSA, Brandon worked for two years within the technical support department and later became a Territory Manager for Texas, Florida, and California.

An ISA Certified Arborist, Brandon holds a variety of tree industry memberships, including ISA, Arboriculture Research and Education Academy, Minnesota Society of Arboriculture (MSA). He serves on the Education Committee for MSA and the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association.

As Director of Communications, Brandon is responsible for company presentations, presenting at tree care conferences across the country, and writing articles for industry related periodicals, (13 published articles, so far, in 2012.) He creates the content for our websites, e-marketing, and graphic design projects, as well as still getting to answer technical plant health questions for our clients.

Brandon is a biker, skateboarder, wine-enthusiast, and home-brewer while still finding time for an avid bonsai and gardening hobby. He and his wife Cheryl live in St. Louis Park, MN with their two daughters and amazing dog.
