Course Description:

An irrigation automation system which has the capability of remote controlling Irrigation valves, by using buried radio transmitting antennas, valve actuating receivers buried to grade, and providing stand alone features. The system provides the commercial landscape and turf sectors with a non line of site central radio remote control system which is both esthetically pleasing, and vandal resistant. The system uses standard alkaline batteries, and is independent of power mains.

Biography:

Michael Kiss, Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Kiss has extensive experience in the aerospace industry specializing in radio and radio related technologies. He is responsible for many radio/radar instruments and technology still in operation today. Mr. Kiss was the founder of Ravalco, Inc., and developed the first radio based Ravalco product, the basis of the products still in production today at Aquaterr.

Mr. Kiss holds several patents related to radio and radar technology.
