Biography:

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada Kent Wallace spent most of his adult life in the automobile industry where he worked as race car fabricator at his own race shop at age twenty four. For twenty years Kent stayed in the industry. Then in 2001 a neighbor asked Kent if he could build her a koi pond like the one Kent?EUR??,,????'?????<

From that point on pond building became his new passion. This first pond was submitted to Better Homes & Gardens Magazine and won Best Courtyard Nationwide in their special interest publication. Koi pond design and construction became much like racing to Kent where he found that things must constantly be improved in order to build better, more stable ponds.

William Lim of W.Lim, Corp. was his mentor and provided his first introduction to filtration systems. From this beginning Kent formed his own company, Living Water Solutions Inc. The company has expanded from pond construction to production manufacturing, consulting and design. Kent has designed and built ponds all over the country and teaches through seminars hoping to educate others as he learns himself.

What Kent has realized is there are no codes or specifications for proper pond construction as in other trades and Koi keeping is a humbling experience. Eighty percent of all the ponds built by Living Water Solutions are rebuilds of poorly designed and constructed ponds. Because of the opportunity to rebuild so many poorly constructed ponds, Kent has an interesting perspective on what?EUR??,,????'?????<

Kent has been in the pond industry for over 10 years, written many magazine articles on pond construction. He has also won an award in Better Homes and Gardens Special interest publication for best courtyard and a Designer Showcase award in Watergarden News.
