Biography: Craig has over 32 years of experience in municipal parks and recreation and has been a featured speaker at local, state, and national conferences related to parks, recreation, prevention, and contracting for services. He has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration from California State University, Fresno and a Master?EUR??,,????'?????<???????????????????????(R)?EUR??,,????'????s in Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus. In his current position as Director for Parks and Recreation for the City of Brentwood since 1998, Craig has overseen the creation of an award winning Parks and Recreation Department that has built over 50 parks, a 38-acre sports facility, full service aquatic complex, a Senior Citizens center, and currently under construction downtown community center. Craig is a former chair and current Board Member Emeritus of the Pacific Southwest Maintenance Management School, and has been activity in the California Park and Recreation Society, National Recreation and Park Association, and the League of California Cities. Scott Miller is a Parks and Recreation Manager for the City of Roseville and has been with the City for 6 years. During that time he has aggressively pursued a blended Parks Division focused on creating a solid balance of public employees and private ?EUR??,,????'?????<?????????????????partners?EUR??,,????'?????<????????????????? working together to maintain the City for its residents and visitors. He has held Section offices with the California Parks and Recreation Society which included: President Elect; Development and Operations Section, President; Development and Operation Section, and Development and Operations CPRS Conference Committee Chairman. Scott was recently elected to the position Treasurer and Budget Manager for the Northern California Chapter of the Sports Turf Managers Association. Scott has been a guest speaker, on the topic of Standards and Services Levels, at CSUS Sacramento, and has spoken at various CPRS sponsored events on topics including: Standards and Service Levels, Relationship Building, Integrated Pest Management, Public/Private Cost Analysis, and Request for Proposal Development. Scott received his Bachelors Degree from Iowa State University and held the positions of Senior Agronomist and Head Golf Course Superintendent for organizations such as Del Webb Corporation, Pulte Homes, and American Golf prior to his service with the City of Roseville. Throughout his career he has built, renovated, and maintained golf courses, parks, sports fields and recreation facilities throughout the United States.
