Biography:

Bob Simpson brings over 35 years of production experience in large landscape projects. In that time he has supervised irrigation installation, landscape planting, and site preparation on over $100,000,000 of commercial landscape development. As Production Director for the AQUASave??????oe Network, Bob is responsible for coordinating the Network members in producing Design-Build and Irrigation Retrofit projects.

Course Description: Based on the AB-1881 concepts applied on the Golden State Water Conservation Demonstration Garden Design concepts, products and services from 17 AQUASave??????oe Network members will be featured.

The challenges of installing a landscape retrofit project to meet the AB-1881 retrofit design concepts.

Building and coordinating the AQUASave??????oe Network member production team

Site preparation emphasizing soil testing, weed control and organic recycling,

Cost effective irrigation retrofit installation techniques

Installing surface irrigation to meet the AB-1881 water runoff control concepts

Landscape plant retention and planting site finishing with weed control and surface mulching
