Reuben Ellis, vice president of Ellis Farms, will offer a grower-based perspective on the use of palms in sustainable, environmentally responsible landscapes. Emphasizing a site-focused approach to the use of palms, topics to be discussed include: low water use palms, climate appropriate use of palms, palm biomass, palms in edible landscapes, non-invasive palms, palm maintenance as sustainability, palms and intangible human values.
