Wood Rodgers?EUR??,,????'??? primary goal is to create a multidisciplined consulting firm that provides the highest level of quality design and service to our clients. The firm?EUR??,,????'???s straightforward business strategy has been the key to their success. The staff is composed of individuals with experience in private and public service, which collectively have a broad familiarity with the different methods and philosophies of project management and delivery, and also possess the expertise needed to manage and work in both sectors. Pride is taken in the fact that the principals and management staff are closely involved with the work product and are responsive to clients?EUR??,,????'??? needs. Wood Rodgers began with three intelligent, ambitious, fearless individuals. Rich Wood, Mark Rodgers, and Steve Balbierz formed the company in 1997 and as the company began to successfully grow and vastly gain a reputation in the industry, they recognized the need for a board of directors and owners group to guide the future of the company. Skilled in the art of design and trained in the technical know-how of construction, they can design environments that enhance lifestyles. From the ambiance of an intimate gathering space to the creation of sense of arrival, their commitment is to make every project a memorable experience. Wood Rodgers has a diverse range of experiences that create the ultimate problem solving team.
Mystique is a high-density condominium project located within a developing community in North Natomas. The single-family residential units located to the east presented a political challenge early in the project. The project was designed with large landscape setbacks and a decorative wall to help buffer the project, from which a consensus was reached during a community charatte process. Among one of the additional features is a bike trail located on the west side of the project.
Robla Community Park was an existing park site located within North Sacramento. When originally constructed, there was only enough budgeted to build half of the programmed park amenities. Wood Rodgers worked closely with the City of Sacramento to develop Phase 2 of the master plan and existing park site. The master plan had designated a skateboard park, basketball court and baseball diamond to be located in the undeveloped portion of the site. Wood Rogers worked with several local skateboard enthusiasts to develop the layout and design of the ramps and other elements.
Situated in the middle of downtown Sacramento, Plaza 26 is an oasis of comfort and elegance. What was once a run-down rental complex has been transformed into a gem of the community. The property has three buildings with two rental units each for six units with a common rear landscape. All of the architecture and interiors were stripped down to the wood framing and rebuilt with materials and colors to create an upscale urban feel. The common space is designed for the residents to relax and entertain in style. A ?EUR??,,????'??dipping?EUR??,,????'?? pool with a three-tier water feature is the focal point of the space. A built-in barbeque and trellis-covered seating area frame the pool. The landscape and outdoors can also be enjoyed at night thanks to the two gas fireplaces and outdoor lighting.
