50 Fremont Street, San Francisco

This plaza, a roof garden over a parking structure that is flush to the pedestrian paths, is designed to give maximum seating to noon-time users in a variety of intimate spaces. The plaza allows pedestrian flow through the space to the building entrances. The soil depths in the plaza are 18-24 inches deep to decrease the roof deck loads. Hedges structure the zones for perennials. Geometric planting areas are surrounded by seat walls.

Marathon Plaza, San Francisco

Marathon Plaza is the largest commercial plaza south of Market Street, designed as the front door to two major office buildings. The plaza fronts 2nd Street with a tower waterfall. The water cascades at 3,000 gpm into a water feature that cuts diagonally across the plaza. The water feature ends in a depressed plaza with seating niches. Grass terraces form two ?EUR??,,????'??hill locks?EUR??,,????'?? with cherry blossom trees that bloom in the spring, creating a delightful setting. The plaza is designed for great flexibility from outdoor eating areas to arena for noon concerts.

120 Mission Street, San Francisco

This urban plaza is designed as a noon-time pocket park plaza. Seating is custom designed into the raised planters, which strengthens the plaza?EUR??,,????'???s strong geometry and invites users in. The plaza is built over a roof deck, with parking spaces below, but the paving is flush with the surrounding city sidewalks. A vine trellis runs the length of the park with a small fountain on axis with the building?EUR??,,????'???s lobby. This plaza also connects with a series of three other parks and mid-block pedestrian corridors.
