Palo Alto Medical Foundation New Campus Project, Palo Alto

The new 15-acre campus for the distinguished Palo Alto Medical Foundation contains a complex of new buildings, totaling 232,700 square feet, providing research facilities, out-patient clinics and administration.






199 Freemont Street, San Francisco

In San Francisco, 199 Fremont is located in the emerging area south of Market Street. A unique feature of the mixed use/high-rise office project is a 6,100 square feet poetry/sculpture garden and plaza, a portion of which is constructed over underground parking. Integral to the development of the design for the poetry garden was the interactive design process involving close collaboration within the design team.






Walter Buehler Alumni Visitor Center at University of California, Davis

The Alumni Visitor Center is designed to be a focus for visitor and alumni events and administration. Located within the Lake District at an important junction of the university campus, the two-level building orients south to the campus edge and north to the center of campus. The landscape plan features a variety of outdoor gathering areas and an arboretum garden. A large outdoor plaza and grassy area to the north of the building were designed as a setting for alumni and visitor events.
