The 2004 show will be held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York on January 14, 2004 For 36 years the Professional Turf & Landscape Conference has brought nationally recognized experts together to discuss new trends in maintenance and construction of lawns and landscapes. Seminars on topics like nutrient management and water quality, updates on invasive beetles, and tips on sustainable trees and shrubs are just a few of the educational programs planned this year. In addition, the trade show offers landscape professionals innovative yet practical techniques and advice on selecting and buying new equipment. This year a special lunch-time session will explain the certified landscape technician training and testing program. The certification is an optional national testing program administered by the New York State Turf & Landscape Association (NYSTLA) in conjunction with the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA).
