PREMIUM QUALITY AND DURABILITY Comtex®+ is engineered for larger projects that require higher tensile loadings and proven performance. With its new colors, improved pigments, new heat-setting of all fabrics and an extended "full replacement" 12 year warranty, Comtex®+ is now the industry's premium shade fabric. Comtex®+ is stentered or ‘heat set' allowing the fabric to ‘lay-flat' which means less curling on the edges, easier fabrication, a "softer hand" and greater dimensional stability. The ‘heat setting' process results in less shrinkage and improved dimensional stability while maintaining high strength and over 90% UV protection. Its industry-leading width helps eliminate seams for less labor cost and greater structural integrity. Comtex®+ is made from virgin resins and the best UV stabilizers available, which are lead-free, and is made to Australian Standard AS 4174-1994. Comtex®+ meets the following fire standard: NFPA 701-2019 and ASTM E84-20 (Class 1 or A rating)
