A Design-Build Project by GuildWorks: As part of the ambitious Neon Line District urban infill redevelopment in Downtown Reno, the Glow Plaza Festival Grounds features an iconic 18,000 sqft colorful shade sail system covering both stage and audience areas. Inspired by the playful Neon Line District branding, the vibrant shade array dramatically reduces heat island effect while creating a visually striking identity for the space. The structure utilizes HDPE-knitted shade cloth that remains in place throughout the summer season and is removed for winter, making it an adaptable solution for the venue's seasonal needs.
