Porous Pave XLP is more than just a great play surface; its a comprehensive system that incorporates safety, functionality and durability. From the ground up, the XLP Playground System starts with a 4" permeable, shock-absorbant base layer made from recycled rubber. Then the entire surface is covered with a 1" layer of recyled crumb rubber mixed in our proprieatary soft binder with wear mats installed in high wear areas. The Porous Pave XLP Playground System has a critical fall rating of 8'. Unlike most other playground surfaces, it is extremely permeable, allowing water to flow right through the surface and base layer with ease.
