There are several quarries that were in full swing during early America's building in pre-steel days and Milford Pink is one of them. It has a consistent warm beige grain pattern with black mica spots offering versatility that makes it suitable for most any application. It is quarried in MA & can be seen on countless historic buildings utilizing enormous cubic pieces and hand carvings from Boston, through New York City, down to DC and beyond. Notable buildings include The National Archives in DC, The American Museum of Natural History in NYC in which the Gilder Center recently had a very modern addition including monumental amounts of Milford Pink to coordinate with the existing historic building. Milford Pink has earned its place in US History and is still available to play a role in your project today!
