A Landscaper's Dream! Contractor's Blend is widely used in landscape development and container growing. This product consists of natural forest products. It contains nitrogen, which is non - leachable and sufficient to take care of decomposition requirements. A portion of this nitrogen is available for plant use. Particle Size - Percent Passing: 1/4" 95% 1/8" 50% This product provides good aeration and drainage in heavy soils when blended on a 2:1 ratio. For container growing a 2 parts Contractor's Blend / 1 part soil mixture is recommended. For Landscaping use, approximately 6 cubic yards per 1,000 square feet is recommended.
