PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Propagation is the heart of Theodore Payne Foundation. Behind the scenes, our production team grows more than 75,000 plants each year from cuttings and divisions from our mother stock, as well as from seed, bulbs and purchased "starts."

Our propagation crew includes four full-time employees who are responsible for growing about 80% of the plants for sale in our retail nursery. It is thanks to their knowledge, skill, and care that TPF fulfills its duty to propagate and make available California native plants to the general public.
