PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The roughly hexagonal shape of the Natual Basalt Column is created when a lava flow begins to cool from inside. Fissures form and expand. Finally, the lava flow hardens into a honeycomb of columns. This process creates stone that is completely unique. After quarrying this striking material, we highlight the piece by polishing the alternating faces of the stone. This process creates a stunning fountain that toes the line between refined and rustic.
