PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The roughly hexagonal shape of the Natural Basalt Column is created when a lava flow begins to cool from inside. Fissures form and expand. Finally, the lava flow hardens into a honeycomb of columns. This process creates unique stone. We highlight the piece by polishing the stone's alternating faces. This process creates a stunning fountain that toes the line between refined and rustic.
