Subwoofers that come free with sound bars are typically cheap and nasty with little power and poor bass extension. They give the impression of bass but often there is little deep bass and a lot of distortion. The DueVoce DualX8 subwoofer is different. There is real bass extension well below 40Hz and the built-in amplifier can power the subwoofer to high SPL levels of 107 dB with only 1% distortion.
