CALABASAS, Calif., ?EUR??,,????'??+ ValleyCrest Companies today named executive vice president Gregory A. Pieschala as president of its Golf Course Maintenance division. Pieschala joins Thomas A. Donnelly, president, ValleyCrest Landscape Development, Roger J. Zino, president, ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance, and Robert L. Crudup, president, Valley Crest Tree Company, to form the national core leadership team for one of the largest and oldest landscape services and site development organizations in the nation. ?EUR??,,????'??Greg has proven himself instrumental in delivering outstanding leadership and valued counsel across the board,?EUR??,,????'?? said Richard A. Despite last year?EUR??,,????'???s challenges in the golf industry, ValleyCrest saw growth in its golf maintenance business, entering several new markets and adding a variety of courses to its roster, including Youghiogheny Country Club, McKeesport, Penn.; Admiral Lehigh Resort, in Lehigh Acres, Fla.; and Glenwood Country Club, Old Bridge, NJ. A national golf course services leader with more than 400 professionals on staff, including certified superintendents and veteran agronomists, ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance helps its customers deliver on their business objectives. He also developed and led strategic growth initiatives that significantly enhanced ValleyCrest Companies> '> depth and breadth of resources and performance capabilities. Pieschala joined ValleyCrest Companies in 2000 from McKinsey & Co. in Los Angeles, Calif., where he served as the principal/co-leader of West Coast consumer and entertainment practices. Pieschala received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School of Business and a BA from Stanford University.
