SALT LAKE CITY - Members of the Utah Landscape Architect Board met earlier this year and unanimously voted to increase the education and enforcement assessment by $10 at the May 31, 2004 renewal date. At the time of the meeting, the balance in the education and enforcement fund was $5,800. On May 31, the fund was expected to gain roughly $2,500 more for this year?EUR??,,????'???s renewal fees. The increase in fees will be used to fund travel expenses to the yearly national conference, CLARB, and yearly regional conference. The current cost of renewal is $10, which means each licensee will be assessed $20 for the 2004 renewal fee. The board recommended the division send a letter of explanation regarding the increase of assessment with the renewal form.
