Police Warn Of Mower Thefts

Albany, New York Police say thieves are targeting professional landscapers to steal their lawn mowers. The thieves cut locks on the contractors?EUR??,,????'?????<

 

They said many thieves watch while contractors cut the grass and strike before they can put lawn mower up.

Albany Police Sgt. Edward Heath said "basically most people when they go in to cool off, get some water, rest for a little while. It only take the thief just minutes to take your mower or lawn equipment."

Record the serial numbers on your equipment, so that if is stolen you can identify it if it's recovered.
