The Oregon chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects has received a $3,000 Chapter Initiatives Program grant from ASLA to film a documentary based on the ?EUR??,,????'??Revolve-Evolve?EUR??,,????'?? symposium held by the chapter in April. The symposium looked at the history of Portland planning, its achievements in sustainable urban environments and who will lead the next generation of city planners.
The documentary, in the works, also encompasses the Portland Downtown Legacy tour (held the following day of the symposium) and photo essays by students from Open Meadows Alternative Schools in North Portland on how they see Portland and what they would like to see for its future.
