The Irrigation Association announced in a news release that they have appointed four new members to their Board of Directors. The new board members are: John McPhee, general manager of irrigation and lighting for the Toro Company; Katie Powell, president of Munro Companies; Michael Roberts, PHD, director of Rain Bird Corporation; and Ted Santiesteban, director of operations for Irrigation Components International, Inc. These individuals will serve three-year terms which began on December 11.

 

Irrigation Association CEO, Deborah Hamlin, welcomed the new members in saying, "These four individuals bring a diverse and broad base of industry experience and expertise to the IA board... we appreciate the efforts that these new and current directors devote to the association and its goals to advance the industry and promote efficient irrigation."
