Last week a strategic partnership was announced between The Dwyer Group, one of the world's largest franchising companies of trades service brands including the Grounds Guys, and ServiceTitan, a leading software as a service management solution for businesses that provide residential service and maintenance.

ServiceTitan's platform is designed to deliver business management and customer relationship management solutions to service-based companies, which, according to the technology company, have been underserved by traditional applications and approaches even though there has been an increase in SaaS and CRM enterprise solutions coming on to the market.

The service was created specifically for the specialized needs of blue collar service workers in the field. Given that the franchise company comprises more than 1,500 franchisees in the United States and nine other countries, this strategic partnership seemingly confirms the need of the service industry for a more catered experience when it comes to technology solutions for SaaS and CRM.

The co-founders of the company reportedly came from families of plumbers and contractors, giving them insight to how difficult it is for the average contractor to adopt new technology, and motivating them to find a way to provide new solutions for this sector.
