K-Industries Acquires Palm Beach Precision Molding

July 12, 2005?EUR??,,????'??+K-Rain Manufacturing Corp., has acquired Palm Beach Precision Molding Company (PBPMC), a privately-owned company founded in 1995 and located in Riviera Beach, Florida. PBPMC manufactures plastic injection molds for the medical, telecommunications, filtration, hardware, electronics, and computer industries.

PBPMC, renamed K-Industries, employs approximately 50 people with anticipated production of 400,000 plastic parts per day, will devote its manufacturing operation almost entirely to K-Rain business. This addition of manufacturing space, equipment and workforce will boost K-Rain?EUR??,,????'???s annual production to over one and a half million parts per day.

"This merger will decrease our operating cost by allowing us to control vendor-managed inventory," said K-Rain President Chip Kah. "We will also benefit by eliminating the non-value step of re-inspection from the manufacturing process."
