International Play Equipment Manufacturers Association Forms Manufacturers which historically operated as the playground equipment section of the National School Supply and Equipment Association have formed an independent trade association called the International Playground Equipment Manufacturers Association (IPEMA). Pursuit of a third party certification program for consumer safety performance specification for playground equipment for public use prompted the reorganization.
