The Chicago ASLA Chapter views the enforcement of the city?EUR??,,????'???s landscape ordinance as a progressive step insuring quality landscape planning, therefore any breakdown in how these requirements are being applied is of grave concern.

The ILASLA has become aware of problems over the last few months regarding the City of Chicago?EUR??,,????'???s enforcement of the Chicago Landscape Ordinance. The chapter regards the implementation of these guidelines as a major way to ensure quality landscape planning. Members are being asked to fill out a form asking for information on prior projects they may have completed for the City?EUR??,,????'???s review. The information will be invaluable in presenting a comprehensive case for the landscape ordinance and the contribution of landscape architects to the greening of the city.
