According to the Propane Education and Research Council, switching to propane-fueled commercial mowers can help landscape professionals cut fuel costs and increase profitability, while reducing harmful emissions.

To help prove this, the council is launching a research effort, which will reward landscapers for their participation.

With The Propane Mower Incentive Program, the council will provide $1,000 for a qualifying new mower purchase, and $500 for a qualifying mower conversion. In return, participants will provide feedback and performance data for one mowing season to help the council document the cost savings and benefits that propane-fueled mowers can deliver.

A limited amount of incentives are available so it is recommended to sign up right away.
