Canadian Natural Lawn and Garden Products Poised for Production/Distribution in the U.S.

VAUDREUIL, Quebec and MUSCATINE, Iowa?EUR??,,????'??+CERES Environmental Solutions and Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) announced February 25, 2004 an agreement under which GPC, a leading manufacturer and worldwide marketer of corn-based products, will produce the CERES Perfectly Natural and Rootein lines of fertilizers, soil conditioners and weed control products for distribution in the United States. The agreement, according to CERES, makes available to American retailers and professional grounds crews the ?EUR??,,????'??first complete line of all-natural lawn care and garden products.?EUR??,,????'?? These products are touted as ?EUR??,,????'??nontoxic, pesticide-free alternatives to chemical-based and organic products ?EUR??,,????'??

CERES?EUR??,,????'?? products are sold across Canada in Home Depot stores, which carry the Perfectly Natural lawn care line on an exclusive basis in Canada. Home Depot also intends to use the products on select properties. The Rootein brand will be rolled out at select retail stores throughout Canada and the United States. In Canada, Perfectly Natural and Rootein are manufactured by the Hydro Agri Canada, a division of Norway-based Norsk Hydro, the largest manufacturer of fertilizers.
