A glance at the back of the U.S. $20 bill shows a tree that could be the same one seen here, which fell on June 26 after heavy rains.

Storms that created flooding through the Mid-Atlantic States in late June also impacted the White House.

A tree that has stood in front of the executive mansion came down during heavy storms on June 26. The large American Elm was not planted by a president or first lady but it shares a piece of history in any case.

It turns out that the tree may be the same one featured on the far right of the back of the $20 bill. The tree is believed to date back 140 years to Andrew Johnson?EUR??,,????'???s presidency.

No one was injured when the tree limbs fell.

Claudia Dickens, a spokeswoman for the Bureau of Printing and Engraving, said the elm might be one of the trees depicted on the back of the $20 bill.

But she said it is also possible that the artist and the engraver took artistic license in depicting the greenery at the White House.
