Bell Nursery Participates in Beautifying Another D.C. Playground U.S. Secretary of Commerce and Miss American on Hand

Maryland-based Bell Nursery, Maryland's largest commercial greenhouse grower, joined forces with Home Depot and KaBOOM! to create a playground and garden for the Children of Mine Youth Center in Southeast Washington, D.C.. Home Depot has donated the supplies and labor to build 161 playgrounds around the country over the last five years, and is committed to building 100 more this year. Bell Nursery contributes to the local effort by providing labor, flowers and garden maintenance training for area residents. The effort coincided with National Volunteer Week.
