Irrigator Tech Adds 2nd Seminar
Richard Daigle - Irrigator Technical Training School Founder
Irrigator Technical Training School founder, Daigle & Associates president, and returning Landscape Expo, Anaheim speaker, Richard Daigle has recently added a second seminar to the November 16th and 17th expo.
Richard Daigle
Richard Daigle has over 40 years of experience in the irrigation industry including, owning several businesses from nurseries to irrigation services. He owned a Landscape Maintenance company and Nursery from 1977 to 1981. From 1984 to 2011, he owned and operated Basic Irrigation Parts and a service division called Precision Control.
In 2001, he opened a dream educational program that was designed to teach basic irrigation concepts to all service providers and technicians. Irrigator Technical Training School was established with a basic course that teaches beginning irrigation with elementary techniques and practices. Currently, Daigle is the director and one of the instructors that teaches using a hands-on approach.
Daigle has served on the board of the CLCA since 2005 as the Education Director. From 2008 to 2016, he served as the President of the Inland Empire Chapter.
In 2005, he founded the Green Industry Hall of Fame and the Association of Latino Landscape Professionals in 2010. Daigle has been presenting at The Landscape Expo since 2011 and has been an exhibitor with Irrigator Tech since 2013.
Seminar Description:
Troubleshooting backflow device procedures. Discussion on four of the common backflow devices used for the mandatory protection of all drinking water. Testing procedures discussed as well. This class goes through backflow and how it is relevant in the industry. To be certified in backflow, attendees must take a 40-hour backflow certification course.
